ADENOSINA MONOFOSFALOGO (2024)
This video was developed for the Purinas 2024 congress. The video uses a cartoonish setting, with its mouse protagonist weaving a monologue about the purinergic system on a stage. Theatrical language is intertwined with neuroscience, delivering an unusual overview of the topic. In this video, I was responsible for reviewing the original script and adapting it to reflect the aesthetics and ideas behind the video. I was also the main voice actor, voicing the mouse. The video is in Brazilian Portuguese.
WHY RESEARCH MATTERS (2022)
This video was created for the ‘Why Research Matters’ 2022 competition, run by the Union of Students in Ireland (USI) in cooperation with the Irish Research Council (IRC). The objective of the video is to introduce myself and my relation to my PhD research – part of the ‘Happy Maths’ project – and why it matters. I was responsible for all aspects of this video: writing and editing the script; narrating it, and editing the video (using Canva, sound effects from Pixabay, and music by Yoav Alyagon from Pixabay; captions were also added by me through DaVinci Resolve).
